Accommodation in Thredbo Village
The River Inn accommodation is ski in ski out. This is a huge difference for any ski instructor course. Great accommodation right there on the slope. We hate the whole commuting thing, it just isn’t the experience we wanted to create. We want you in the mountains skiing and partying not riding a bus for two hours a day to stay in a disused sheep paddock out the back of Jindabyne.
Package includes seven breakfasts and four dinners each week. Extra dinners can be purchased later but we reckon you will probably already be out drinking.
5 days a week training
We decided that 5 days a week was the best model for us for a couple of reasons.

•It is early season and this amount of early training will bring the candidates up to speed no problem.

•It means everyone will be trained and qualified and ready to work in the busy part of the season. Then it is time for the candidates to make some money.

•Two days to shadow lessons, recover from what ever is making you sore, or to rip it up with your mates.
5 hours training each day
Excellent early morning conditions makes it ideal to work on your skiing, and after lunch is a great time to work on those pesky demos and teaching.
We want to get the course done and then get on with the season, which means you can go on and train for the APSI level one in house with Thredbo Snowsports School (that’s a lot of training for free..)

Thredbo Leisure Centre membership
We have arranged a pass for the Thredbo Leisure Centre. This is a huge plus, a fantastic center in the heart of thredbo is where the Australian Institute of sport does their high altitude training. Gold medalists in the local pool.. We just like it ‘cause of the water slide and obstacle course, basket ball, sqaush courts, indoor football, bouldering wall and the gym.
get a job
They trust us to train you well enough to be one of their staff. Jobs at the end of the program with Thredbo Snowsports School. Thredbo Snowsports school provides rookies a good amount of work due to the enormous children’s school and the huge amount of school groups that Thredbo snowsports school caters for. Compared to Australian and New Zealand resorts, Thredbo has a great amount of work for rookies.
